I don't remember where I got the numbers, but I do remember the numbers.

Of all the police officers that get shot, fully one-half shoot themselves. I don't mean suicides or attempted suicides, those weren't figured in. I mean goofing around and shooting yourself. Most often in the weak side hand or arm.

Another one-quarter get shot by other officers. Not in anger, but by mistake.

Only about one-quarter of the cops that get shot, get shot by bad guys.

Interesting?

It seem that if only the police had guns, lots of them would still get shot.

If ONLY the police had guns, then the police wouldn't really NEED guns at all, now would they? After all, the bad guys don't have them. Right?

I wonder if Bobbies in Britain ever club themselves to death?

I beleive in England there are those within the police departments people that do carry guns, such as the detectives and the supers,
The common BOBBIE has a club and a whistle, (what a deterent to crime) just blow your whistle and they run away HA HA

Didn't you guys watch the Patriot? You should know by the movie, the British are a kinder gentler lot. They're not prone to mean acts like we yanks.
