"Made from Kevlar 29. Weighs just 4lbs! Brand new, never worn. Level IIIA Protection from 9mm submachine gun, .44 magnum..."

Yeah it protects against 9mm Submachine gun but what about 9mm Jennings or 9mm glockz?

Don't worry about the bullet with your name on it, worry about the fragmentation grenade addressed 'To Occupant'.

In May 2005, the US Marines recalled more than 5,000 DHB "Interceptor" armored vests after questions were raised about their effectiveness.

Anyone know if their product (DHB or PACA) is still any good?

Since I had to get measured and fitted for my vest, then had to do it all over again since the one that was sent didn't fit, I think I'd pretty much shy away from "one size fits most" kevlar.

Besides, if you're hit in the vest in the line of duty and survive, most manufacturers and dealers will replace it free of charge while under warranty. Caveat Emptor on the no warranty implied items. I think I'll stick to department issue.

I'd stick with a well known brand name, especially when it came to body armor, at least one that has an insurance policy so if you get shot, and they'r body armor doesn't work, they will pay your medical bills.

Also avoid any of those expired police resale vests, if they won't wear them, then why would you???

If I'm wrong please correct me, I won't be offended.

We're issued Second Chance. Hope I never have to prove it's worth. You have to force yourself to wear it and let it mold to you. Good stuff.
