Was married 13 years till the worthless @#$%# walked out on the boys and I to "find herself". I will never try that again.Who needs that garbage? Better to remain friends with someone than ruin a good relationship by getting married!

Been married for a little over 4 years now. You know I'm happy cause my wife just got me a new ultra-light fishing rod for Father's Day!! I'm going for crappie and perch on Sunday!

There are times when I think about what it was like to be single (when, for example, my younger brother comes over with a few 21 year old girls who want to party ). But, when I think about it, I still enjoy my wife's company after 7 years together!

Been with her for 28 years and married for 26. We both just got back from the range today, punched a lot of holes in some paper. The bad thing about having a wife that shoots is that it cost TWICE as much in ammo. The good thing is you have someone to help clean the guns. LOL

If I knew then, what I know now.

Married twice. Once for ten years and currently seven years and counting. I pray to God this one last for ever as she doesn't mind me owning and buying guns, or hunting. She can even skin, cut up and wrap my venison every fall, no problem. What a great life. By the way she charges $15.00 to skin it, and $45.00 to cut and wrap. Canadian prices of course.

I've been very happily married to the same wondeful woman for almost 32 years. Only regret is that I did not marry her sooner! My wife is a twin, but she is happily married for the same 32 years. We got married in a double wedding! God is good ... all the time!

15 years last April. We didn't plan to get married on a date so close to Saxon Pig's B-day, it just worked out that way when we had to change the date to accomodate family. Even that almost fell through. Ever been to a surprise wedding?

    WOOF.

Very happily married for 20 years this September. I would do it all over again without any hesitation. I think I'll go and give her a hug...then I'll head to the range.

Been married for 27 years - but - to three different women. Fortunately
2 of the times were childless. The "good" marriage lasted 16 years with two great kids. I'm ashamed that I haven't been able to make one last, and I admit it's mostly my fault for being too critical during the marriage. One consolation is that my exes all still like me and say I'm a good provider - they just can't stand being married to me. Congratulations to all you guys who've made a go of it.

Twice. First one was pretty good I thought. It lasted 16 years and 3 kids, but the wife wanted "something better, and to find herself" so she kicked me out the same day I retired from the USAF. The second was a disaster from the first. I stuck it out for 17 years, raised her son, who was a fine fishing buddy, but got himself killed when he was 27. Nothing left there for me, so I gave her the house, everything we had and split. I've lived alone since, and it treats me well. No regrets. I'm friendly with both now, but sure don't live with them.

There are no bad guns, only bad people.

I waited until today to reply, because it's our 28th anniversary. First and only marriage for both of us. We have 3 kids. We waited a while, so the oldest is not quite 21 and the youngest 13.

Are we happy? In general yes, but it takes a lot of endurance and commitment, and for some faith, to get through that long with one person. Each gets to know the faults of the other pretty well; sometimes it's hard to remember the strengths.
