What one non-gun thing would you grab if you had to get out of the house right now?
It could ba a tornado, flashflood, earthquake, alien invasion, and you have 60 seconds to decide.

I don't mean kids or pets, but a material thing.

Grandaughter,[^] I figure the wife and daughter will be grabbin' if one of them doesn't have the 'gran' first. Other than that, my wallet, of course I usually have that on my person.

Can't think of anything else. Everything else, for the most part, can be replaced, maybe with better once insurance settles.[:D][:D]

    358,

Not a bad Idea an emergency 'tote-n-bolt' bag. Could be a life saver in many situations. I'll have to cogitate on that one.

My looting equipment. Teach those anti-firearm plugs why they shouldn't be. Just kidding. The only scenario you listed that it would be better to get out for is the flood. No, wait, I live on the 4th floor. I'll be ok. But if I had to go it's be the Tick. My cat.

I'd grab the safe & toss it out the window. Car keys might help too.

Don't think I'd leave for any of them... Although, as a middle-aged man I am supposed to get the alien invasion er, probe every year as a precaution. [:0]

Since you specified no kids or pets, assuming they are already taken care of.

If not the albums, then the negatives for the photo albums. (which are all in one box) They can not be replaced. Along with the important papers that are also in that (fire-resistant) box. This has already been discussed, by us.

358WINCHESTER, I will be looking into a get gone bag for myself. GREAT IDEA[8D]

For years I have carried a rifle with a couple of boxes of ammo, and a good pair of hiking boots, in whatever vehicle I have owned at the time.I always thought if it hit the fan I would be able to make my way home.

Never thought about what a guy would need if he had to head for the hills for an unknown amount of time[:I]

What does everyone think should go in the bag???????

bambihunter, I too got the alien probe for the first time last year.
(I turn 50 this year, Sept. 3rd, mark all you calendars[:D])

The Doc said everything was A-O.K. Good thing, I guess[:0][:0][:0]

Coin collection, important papers, thats in case of flood, tornado or other natural disaster. Now in case of an alien invasion,[}:)][:(!] to the gun safe for the real invasion extermination tools. I know that was not one of the posted things to get, but in an invasion all bets are off, and anything goes. The 308 and AR15, and all the ammo I can carry in two 50cal. ammo cans.
