the Louisiana governor story -- he recommends women go buy guns. I'm watching some news for a while! Those two kidnapped girls tried to kill their kidnapper with a knife and a broken whiskey bottle! I love it when victims fight back! You go, girls! Too bad they couldn't get ahold of his gun, because that's what he used to take back control. I'm surprised he didn't shoot either of them right then. That's what I call spunk.

They just ran the entire interview with Ms. Marris on Nachman's show, and it was amazing. The young lady was poised and very well spoken, and had quite a tale to tell. She noticed the pulse in his neck while he was sleeping, so they worked together and stole his knife and whiskey bottle from him while he slept and attacked him with both, then when he jumped out, they locked him out of the car for a period of time while he kept threatening to shoot them through the windows. Finally, they let him back in when he agreed not to kill them. Amazing stuff, amazing young lady. Talk about role models.

Heard an interview with one girl's father ,white girl, whose dad sounded genuine but as the interview wrapped up he said, in a more leisurely style, there's fifteen minutes fame. Makes me wonder.....
