Interesting video of a white female trooper attacked by a black female. In the audio you can hear someone say that the trooper better shoot her. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Se1eGAc9Wo

Looks like the citizens were pretty slow helping the cop out. She really got her bell rung when she went backwards down the bus steps and hit the railing with the attacker on top of her. Lucky the black woman didn't go for the cop's gun.
Probably because they were mostly black. Sure would be good to know what started this whole mess as they were on the freeway in the middle of no where. I'm sorry but I just have a problem with single female troopers in this day and age. Had this been some 6 ft 3" 250 lb. guy she would have been toast.
I agree with you armilite, you need to be able to handle yourself in a hand to hand fight to be a cop; most women can't.
In truth this is not the type of situation most Troopers deal with on a regular basis, so I imagine she was wholly unprepared to deal with this situation. Its like sticking a Trooper in the middle of a Domestic situation when 90% of their job is working wrecks and RADAR. Not bad mouthing her, just saying its probably not the type of citizen interaction that she has much experience with.

The video clearly shows the best and worst of humanity inside a Greyhound bus bound for Columbus in Morrow County last week.
Dispatchers for the State Highway Patrol were called to the bus at about 5 p.m. Thursday after it had pulled to the berm along I-71 at milepost 144 in Morrow County.
A cellphone video posted to YouTube shows passenger, Antoinette Taylor, 26, Warrensville Heights, a Cleveland suburb, yelling at riders inside the bus. Trooper Tressa Winans then boards the bus.
Taylor appears to grab her belongings and then a commotion erupts. "All of a sudden you see fists flying and the trooper's hat is knocked off and they're falling out of the bus," patrol spokesman Lt. Craig Cvetan said today.
The video, shot from inside the bus, shows Taylor pinning Winans near a guardrail and punching her and pulling her hair. Passengers inside call on others to help.
That's when the driver and a passenger grab Taylor from behind so that Winans can regain control and handcuff her.
Taylor was charged with assault on a police officer, a fourth-degree felony.
Winans was treated for cuts and bruises, including on her head and face.
Based on the video, Winans had an appropriate response given the tight quarters on the bus and unexpected attack, Cvetan said.
"Typically, we would not encourage bystanders to get involved," said Cvetan. "We don't want a bunch of people rushing toward us. We don't always know that they are coming to help us."
In this case, the help was appreciated.
"By them getting involved and helping her get out of the situation, it definitely limited her injuries," Cvetan said.
A backup trooper and a deputy with the Morrow County sheriff's office also responded, just after the handcuffs were locked.
Wow.
Nice to see some citizens come to the Trooper's aid but just ... WOW!
Obviously the Trooper was caught off guard, but have to wonder if she hit her head during the fall and was stunned a bit. She couldn't reach her handcuffs the first couple of tries even with those citizens helping to restrain the crackhead. Just seemed to be laying there at first.
Antoinette would have subsequently been hobbled, carried over the guardrail and rolled down the hill.
Trooper Winans would have returned in a week or two to retrieve her handcuffs.
**** ok! it wouldn't have actually worked out that way *****
That's a Whacky Video!!!
