It's all done. Finally. The wife and I are in our new house. And, it's five days earlier than was originally scheduled. We spent the last three days doing nothing but going back and forth between the apartment and house. We used two trucks and a trailer. Neither one of us thought we had that much in the old place, but once we started packing it was almost like more things kept showing up where we had already taken stuff from. At one point I asked where the hell it all kept coming from. She even asked me if I was unpacking things and putting them back where they were. We were both amazed at the amount of boxes we went through. So, to warn you ahead of time, make sure you have enough of those. The only thing left now is to figure out where to put every thing. I hope all is still looking good for you, and you haven't ran into any problems. Let me know how things are.

I know the feeling. I haved moved twice in 1 year. Once out of state. I eneded up hiring a moving companythe second time. I am not a manual labor type of guy. I do not care if it was around the corner I was not moving anything.

If you will blame gun makers for every shooting then blame car maker for every car accident.

Brth729, I think I'm running to the same thing. I pictured in my mind how many boxes I should have packed up but when I got there I still had more stuff to pack. That doesn't count my girlfriends stuff. Makes me scared that we got too small of a house. Not to mention we'll get a heck of a lot more crap after we get married. Just need to convince her that we don't need gifts for things that I already have. Fat chance, right? We close on the 23rd and get the keys at noon on the 24 so until then there won't be much going on.

ccasey612, I like your idea of hiring a mover. But this time around it's hard to justify it. I'm moving 2 miles east and 1 mile south of current location. Maybe the next time around, as I hope then it's back to WI.

GreenLantern-After I saw how much crap we moved, I told my wife not to like anything to much. If we ever move again I'm going to tell her to grab her clothes and valuables because all else is staying. Three days of nonstop back and forth really sucked. Good to hear that a date's been set. I hope it all goes smoothly for you when it comes time to sign on the dotted lines.
