awhile back jd proclaimed "meteor madness" of a sort, predicting a coupla close meteor runs...it seems we had a near-miss of a big meteor mar08 that came as close to us as the moon. they say no one saw it because "the sun blocked it". makes one wonder...and makes me respect dred's sources a bit more, and maybe even him too...kinda scary to think we could've been hit by a big one and no one would've told us...
