NASCAR?

Earlier today my "old lady" over heard my friends and I talking about last Sundays race and she asked what letters stand for in the word. We tried to figure it out but all I could get was National Assoc. of Stock Car something, something. I'm sure one of you southern boys know. Us yanks are a little dim on the stock car knowledge.

    You guys don't even know what real racing is. Go to Knoxville Iowa and Watch the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Nationals and then you can tell all of your buds that you have been to a real race! Go Danny Go! Like the bumper sticker says it ain't real racing till you have dirt in your beer! I think all of the guys in Nascar got skeered of getting those 800 H.P. Firebreaters sideways and went to NASCAR....

    Walt, you must have missed the part of my post. "I think all of those NASCAR dudes got skeered of the 800 H.P. Firebreathers and went to NASCAR" just funn'n but I believe the real reason is the money! It would be fun to see someone like Jeff Gordon go back and duke it out with the likes of the Kinzer boys, Lasoski, and the likes. But its a whole different kind of racing. I personally find it more exciting "In Person" to watch than NASCAR. But in all honesty I like to watch anything that goes fast! Besides a guy could read a whole book just trying to get out of a NASCAR race. If you ever get to Knoxville look me up! Section X Row 18 Seats 15-16-17-18-19-20...I will take you through the Knoxville Museum and Hall of Fame, My Treat....Not to give you any ammunition for your argument or anything, I am just curious what happend to Tyler Walker? I don't follow NASCAR like I should but he just made the transition a few years ago and you don't hear much about him. Dirtdude!

    I REALLY WANT TO GO TO BRISTOL MOTOR SPEEDWAY WHEN THE OUTLAWS RUN THERE.THEY RUN ALMOST A MILE AN HOUR FASTER THAN THE WINSTON CUP CARS.I THINK THAT WOULD BE A BLAST.TO ANY OF YOU NON-RACE FANS A MILE AN HOUR FASTER IS A PRETTY BIG DEAL TO US RACE FANS ANYWAY.NEVER HEARD OF THAT TYLER DUDE BUT DAVE BLANEY CAME FROM WORLD OF OUTLAWS AND HE HAS KINDA HAD IT ROUGH BUT AS YOU SAY IT IS A WHOLE DIFFERENT WORLD.IF IT MAKES YOU FEEL ANY BETTER MY BIG RED PETERBILT HAS A STICKER ON IT THAT SAYS "DIRTS FOR RACIN' ASPHALT IS FOR GETTING THERE"
