Animal rights activist damage to hunters

I was just talking with an old friend the other day who now lives in a neighboring County. We were talking about getting together to do some varmit hunting. He kind of chuckled "your driveing" no problem I replied. He then told me why!He said that animal rights people had cut tires on several hunters vehicles, and keyed the paint jobs you name it they done it he said.He said they knew it was the same people because every vehicle damaged also had the radio antenna or antenna's broken off, kind of like a symbol or mark. Now I agree any human who mistreats an animal should be done the exact same way.But why cant these people see hunters are not only beneficial but necessary for game animals?

Because they are the same as War protestors, Bush Wackers, PETA and the hardcore Bible Thumpers, they can't see past the end of thier noses and only worry about themselves, selfish[V]

I can't imagine how I would react to something like that happening to me. Those people are so single minded it is unreal.
Maybe they just want to see animals over populated, starving, dieing of dieses, causing environmental damage, and the lord only knows what else. Man has survived off animals since the beginning of time so what gives them the right to decide different now.

Which state was it that had the PETA people putting orange vests on deer to protect them during hunting season? Their plan back fired when hunters could pick up the color of the vest while the deer tried to hide themselves.

I think the hunters should switch to a differant prey. Use the vehicles as bait and wait till the prey comes in.

I'm all 4 the car as bait ... the first time you catch them it will be the last as they have no stomach for face to face and that's why they slink around a vandalize the vehicles.

Bet it be worth a few hours of waiting to hide and catch them in the act. Would love to see their faces when facing an armed man who's car they were vandalizing.[:D] Maybe that's a little out there, however.[8)]

Suspension....although that would be funnier then hell and a great lesson for them, I think this is one of those stories that turned out to be false. I don't remember when, but it was posted on the board that someone made it up....On the other hand, I haven't seen anything elsewhere that would prove it was false and it would be just the kind of thing the PETAphiles would do...and then write the vests off their taxes.

I do remember hearing about when a bunch of PETAphiles showed up at prairie dog shoot with whistles. Their plan was to scare the prairie dogs so the shooters wouldn't be able to shoot them. The PETAphiles didn't realize that prairie dogs are naturally curious animals, and the whistles caused them to stick their heads up out of their holes to see what was making all of that noise. As a result,[:D] more where shot than ever before![:D] The PETAphiles were invited to come back the next year.[:D][:D]

You guys came up with a good idea about parking and hideing in the woods and watching for these low down snakes.I guess I would lose my job and be charged with Assault&Battery cause somebody's gonna take a butt whoopin and if it be me fine, but they wont forget the one I got in no time soon.Figure 4 tires for my truck is nearly $500.00 now thats almost a weeks salary for me.I couldnt afford to run into any of these people.
