I had a great evening hunting yesterday...

I saw somewhere in the neighborhood of 50 deer again. I passed on quite a few shots. I also saw between 30-50 turkeys...I was kind of hoping they would have gotten a little closer for a good shot. They never came in past about 50 yards. I didn't shoot anything, but I was constantly entertained watching the game.[:)]

Myself also....rifle hunting, in the stand early.
Got the nodds soon after getting in the stand.
Over run with tree rats, a falcon came through the
trees and set every chipmonk looking for they're holes.
Some turkeys scratched under my tree for about 30 mins.
Momma came through with 2 yearlings one was black!!
They fed around my tree, the younguns drank from the creek
and licked the saltblock. They moved on, the turkeys decided
it was time to roost and flew up in the trees around me.
By then it was too late to take a nap, so I climbed down
and went home. A nice time in the deer wood.
