Over the past several months I have received a number of inquiries from my end-users regarding the LinkSys wireless network devices and specific questions about their security. I found an article which I think does a good job of explaining the basics as well as providing tips on how to keep your personal LinkSys WLAN secure.

I have the Linksys G router. But I do not have a problem with others on my system simply because there are no other houses within range of my system. The router is in the house and all 'puters in the house have excellent signal. The shop is also covered, and I have taken the laptop down the road to the closest house and the signal is gone.

Thanks for the link anyway it was interesting reading. I will send this link to my brother in law as he has a wireless system, and this problem at his house.
