    I hope he has grounds for a lawsuit...the Supreme Court ruled that 20 minutes was the limit for detaining someone without bringing charges. He ought to have some kind of case here...harassment or something.

    Law suit time. Twenty minutes is the time allowed for a lawful stop, and the justification for the stop was also unlawful. What crime is having a bumper sticker?

    If profiling is unlawful, then this stop is unlawful. You can't have it both ways.

    Why isn't the ACLU all over this? Because the guy stopped is white, not currently a minority.

    Well, they arrested him. They should arrest the bond of the officer who exceeded their colorable authority.

    Thank-God I live in Montana where my NObama sticker makes people smile and only the Californian transplants wonder if that rifle in the rack is legal.
