Then according to a study, if you drive the ford you are insecure and the corvette?....mid life crisis car..

What Do Women Want Men To Drive?
Dating Expert Reveals Types Of Cars That Attract Certain Women -

Having trouble on the dating scene or attracting the type of women you seek? The problem, or solution, may be in what you pick your date up in.

Of course, this is not a new concept, but simply driving a nicer car isn't exactly going to attract the exact type of woman a certain man desires, according to dating coach Deanna Lorraine.

So, to help men sort through the ins and outs of the dating scene in regards to automotive choices, LeaseTrader.com gave Lorraine a list of the five most popular cars that men lease, and Lorraine gave her insight into the type of woman that car attracts. They announced the results in a press release Tuesday.

Like it or not, a car is an extension of a man's personality, according to Lorraine.

"A man's car reveals a lot about his personality and values, and may determine a woman's attraction toward him," Lorraine stated in the press release. "Women pay attention to more than just a man's personal looks."

So, what will women make of the make and model you drive?

Chevy Suburban

Men who drive Suburbans are the adventurous type and enjoy spending time with friends and family. According to Lorraine, these vehicles attract women that are family-oriented, down-to-earth and easy-going.

Mercedes S-Class

Men that drive Mercedes S-Class vehicles are classy, successful and stylish and, according to Lorraine, these vehicles attract sophisticated women that are in their late 30s and 40s and enjoy being taken care of.

Ford F-150

Drivers of Ford F-150 tend to be insecure, according to Lorraine, and overcompensate for this by acting tough and driving a "tough" looking vehicle. Lorraine said F-150s attract women that prefer to be protected by a man so they can feel safe.

Corvette

The Corvette is the official midlife crisis car, according to Lorraine, and the men that drive them are conservative but are trying to display their wild side through their car. Lorraine said Corvettes attract women that like bad boys and are probably bad girls themselves.

Toyota Camry

The Toyota Camry is driven by men that are typically solid, reliable and committed, according to Lorraine, and these vehicles attract women that are sweet, level-headed, uncomplicated and undemanding.

That Corvette Crisis thing isn't all true. I have owned Corvette's since I was 19 years old. I would also say the suburban thing is gone with the fuel crisis. I also do not see DWS's Renault Alliance on the survey.

You call her an expert? Not what I would call her.

    This is bogus.

I drive a one ton dually. If you ask her it would be because I have a "small package" and I must compensate. The 10-26k pounds I drag around would be irrelevant.

I'm suffering mid life crisis because I like to drive fast in a sports car?

I don't lease mine.. BUT.. they are correct about attracting bad girls. Not out looking for them but they find me. It is not the car it is the representation of the car. They don't want me, they want the money the car represents. Kinda funny in a ha ha way when I tell them I am happily married ..

No one who drives a truck in this condition is insecure about anything. Faded paint, beat-up body, rust, and dirt. There's nothing insecure or over compensating about it.

EDIT: If a woman is with a man solely based on what he drives, that speaks volumes for the worth of both the parties involved. Unless The woman is with you becasue you have a truck in the previously mentioned condition.

According to Google, Deanna Lorraine is a DATING AND RELATIONSHIP COACH

How that makes her an expert on cars and their drivers is beyond me. But thanks for more insight from the "dark side".

Well, I have good news for you. Maybe... According to a Ford dealer here in Dallas, come Sept or Oct. Ford will be having a half off sale on all Ford F150 trucks.

yep, you read that right. Take sticker price and divide by 2. Add TT&L and you cand have a new truck.

I am not fond of Ford trucks, however, I would drive a Ford before I ever thought of buying a foreign POS. But 1/2 off makes me pause for a moment. Downside is it's the F150's... Long live Chevy!

Some Ford Dealer had a sale a couple weeks ago, 2008 Ford F150 6 cyc Reg cab, short box, auto trans and a/c for either $9999 or 10,999 Or you could get the v8 w stick for the same price. or something like that.

Why would I want a new truck? Mine runs like a top and will out pull any modern 6 cyl and quite a few small block 1/2 tons, 300-6 y'all. They can keep their new trucks. Mine's paid for and only costs me gas, insurance(cheap), license, and maintenance. A new truck you have all that plus double insurance for full coverage and a $400 a month payment. I think I'm ahead with my old POS.

    This is so much crap.

    What if I drove a 1967 427 Shelby Cobra?

It would mean one of two things.

Ether I was stealing it, or I was a rich SOB[8D]

I drive an F-150, because I got a good deal on it, but lately it has been parked because I can't afford to fill the beast up with gas. So, I have been driving my daughters rusty old 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix.[xx(]

I've had a couple Vettes, can't say a whole lot of good about them other than the older ones look cool, other than that I can't stand them. This was my last Vette,

    Vette_copy.gif

As far as trucks, where I live a truck is a part of life, everyone got them, big ones, little ones and medium ones, trucks here is a needed item just like anything else. I brag on mine just to stir up the Dodge and Chevy guys, guys take trucks serious and brand loyalty is heavy among some [:D] Now I do wonder though, why does a city slicker need a 4X4 truck?
