The 9MM argument, is solved

If you want to shoot a little and stop something; shoot a .45 ACP/ Colt
If you want to shoot a lot, shoot the 9MM Luger.
The 9MM is a lot cheaper to shoot, the small primers are a bit cheaper, the powder charge is less and if you cast your own, it takes about half the lead.
The 45ACP is a tad more expensive for primers, takes twice the lead and burns more powder.
Pick your poison.
See how easy this was to solve. [:D]

If you can't feel the music; it's only pink noise!
Also, the price of the primers is the same for small or large pistol (at Midway anyways).
With that rational why not a .44?
That one is easy, because it ain't a 45. [:D][;)][:D][:D][:D]
.40 S&w brass is cheap and plentiful.
Even better than the cheap .40 S&W brass are the cheap but quality .40 S&W pistols![:)]
Check out the auction side, Glock LEO trade in models 22, 23 and 27 can be found on the cheap! Same goes for LEO trade in Sig P229 & P226 models.[:)]
The other cool bonus is you can get a .357 sig barrel for most .40 S&W pistols. The .357 sig is an expensive to buy caliber you want to reload for though![:)]

well then .32ACP should be even better!
But why not a 30-06...In a Glock?

no difference in primers and projectiles, brass for.32 is higher, just a wee bit less powder
