Went to the post office this morning, coming home ..blue lights in the mirror. Trooper was so close to me I only seen the lights not the car since I was in the truck. Pull off the road and instant attitude from him. I give him the drivers license and carry permit and he ask if I have a pistol in the truck. I answer yes and he gets another attitude and mumbles something going back to the car. Said I was going 57 in the 40. I disagree and tell him there is absolutely NO WAY I was speeding. I got a ticket in the same location about 2 months ago from the local city police. He mumbles again something I couldn't understand. Comes back with a warning ticket for me to slow down. After I got it in my hand I told him to reset his radar machine. He then replies... I wasn't targeting your vehicle... I seen the other car he had stopped going to the post office. Un frigging believable. There must have been a half dozen of them swarming the town.

They are just getting ready for the week end.
Glad I won't be around here for the weekend !! My 1 ton dually must look like a sports car..
Picked up 5 Dutch Rabbits from the number one Dutch Rabbit breeder in the country. I needed a top buck to take me to the next level. I can tear em up over a 3 or 4 State area but want to be able to compete nationally. I think this buck just might be the ticket. I'm all excited![:D]
My Corolla did 37.7 mpg on this trip. Was very pleased.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
Sunday I drove 933 miles on I-40 and I-75 from S.C. to Ohio and back. I was in a hurry and would let a couple of speeders go by me, pull out and put myself in the rockin chair. Most of the trip up was 80 mph or over. I left at 9:30 AM Sunday and never saw a Statie until almost to the Ohio River. Got home at 3:00 AM Monday morning. Don't think I saw a total of 10 Troopers during the whole trip.
