The shop that Mr. Rick Hendrick uses for his cars did a fine job.

Admittedly, I was unsure as to whether I wanted to open this topic.
Some will die in hot pursuit
    And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
    While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
    Coming down the mountain

This fine Camaro SS was built at GMMG in Marietta Ga. Seems Dale Earnhardt Sr. was going to sell them at his dealership in NC. The Intimidator Camaros were in production and one Camaro was built as a prototype PR-1 for Dale Jr. He autographed the tach cluster ( like Dale done the first 33 Intimidators ) and it was sent back to GMMG. Car was built, LS1 engine removed and a LS6 that was modified 525 HP installed.GMMG installed the best GM had at the time on the Camaro..Corvette Z-06 brakes, wheels, alum. flywheel, Heavy duty clutch, and even a factory GM roll bar, electric exhaust cut outs. Car was delivered, tested by Dale Jr. for 2-3 weeks. After Dale Sr. death the car was returned to GMMG. No more were built. It just had a 7 week restoration to freshen it up. Dale Jr. had a Dick Harrell wide body 2002 600HP Camaro built by GMMG after his Dads death. Kelley Earnhardt has a 2002 GMMG Intimidator since all the 2001 Intimidators were all sold. Still pretty damn cool to have a ride that was suppose to go into production and be sold that both Earnhardts have driven. No way Dale Sr. didnt drive mine if he was going to sell them at the dealership.
