Beyond the statement, it shows how out of touch with reality Jeb Bush is.

If 'The symbols were racist' refers to the Confederate Battle Flag, he does not understand what it means to most who support it.

It only creates division because some have chosen, recently, to develop the theory that it is a racist symbol, and we should all be above supporting it.

This does not change how I feel about big government Jeb, as he was not on my to vote for list anyway.

it's not up to anybody in the government decide what is "racist" or not. as long as no laws are broken the government doesn't have any business with it.

it's not up to any majority to dictate what a minority can or can't say either, even if it gets the "racist" label.

and you know what? so what if it is racist. that's still part of freedom of speech. as long as no laws are broken.

He knows everybody with any sense in the south is not going to vote for Hillary so he's trying to get some of the votes on the other side since there's a lot of liberals that can't stand the sight of Hillary either.

That made it easier on me. I was not planning on voting for him but now there is no way I would.

Unless this was the only other choice:

And even then I may just stay home.

Of course Jeb Bush wants the votes, where ever they can be found. Every politician does.

That "Southern Vote" is changing. Demographics are shifting. It ain't what it used to be.

I'd feel really good if I could have a face to face conversation on this matter with him, just so I could tell him what I think of his sorry kind.

Conviently I live in the south and have no intention of voting for him. Works out for both of us.

RINO. Wants to appease liberals (who will not vote for him no matter how much he pisses off the conservative base) and the media (who will not support any Republican in a general election.

Whomever is advising him is stupid. He is stupid. I pray the GOP nominates someone better than him.

Right now every poll shows Hillary winning over all Republicans currently running. Jeb is far ahead in the money game, but he's a Bush. No way do I want a family legacy candidate. Not from the Bush's, not from the Clinton's.

Just have to wonder which foul smell I'll have to hold my nose and vote for in the end. Ain't going to be a pleasing choice no matter how it shakes out.

    Okay... Now I'm depressed .....

We don't need another Bush! GWB is the reason we have this * in the White House now. People hated him so bad they decided they would vote for anything other than another republican no matter who they were and they did...they voted for Bonzo instead!
