This is a major disaster for some folks already suffering from the flooding. The snow is HEAVY, icy and stuck to what ever it fell on. I just measured 13-1/2" of new snow on the back rail pictured below. [:(]









My generator has been running since about 4 this morning, thousands have no power.

That is what it looked like here last week. It was a mess and we were without power for 16hrs. I ran my whole house generator and burned some serious propane.

Hang in there at least you have power.

This storm is heading NE lots of moisture with the cold front heading in from the Dakota's. We are supposed to be near zero tomorrow morning. It was 45 yesterday.....

Lucky for me I have free natural gas to run the generator.

Just got a snow storm, six inches, I have only had tw shovel twice this year

I live in SW Ohio, we got 8" of fresh stuff last night. It was 38 and raining all day yesterday. Roadways were flooded, creeks out of their banks. Supposed to be -4 tonight and 60 by the middle of next week. March has some extremes.
