I didn't say "1,000 dollar finder fee for a 1983 production line Corvette FOR SALE". It just said, "1,000 dollar finder fee for a 1983 production line Corvette"

Alas that doesn't qualify as a "production line" 1983 Corvette.

quote:Fifty years of production will be celebrated in 2003, however that's not entirely true. It will actually mark 49 model years for the Corvette, and that's because there was no 1983 Corvette. None were ever built for sale to the public.

You keep missing the part where it has to be a production car. [:D]
This is why I carefully worded the request. [8D]
By the way, how many of you knew the vette was never sold for that year?
If I remember right, that was also the year the third eye came out, well, 1984.

The Corvettes in 2003 were called 50th Anniversary's. It had been 50 years since the 300 1953's were built. In 1978 The 25th anniversary editions were made.
