    These short 92s are so cool. I have thought about having a new one made and pay the transfer tax on it.

    I would never buy an original, expensive, and collectible specimen. I want a shooter.

    Maybe a Rossi M92 in 45 Colt cut down to 14"...

    You cannot legally cut it down below 16".

    Please read my first post. I said I was tempted to make one and pay the transfer tax...as in make it legal with the government. You most certainly CAN cut down a rifle as long as you pay the fee and register it as an SRB for Short Barrel Rifle.
