There's been a few posts of late about unexplained eerie sounds in the dark.
Let's try the reverse > what do you consider the most recognizable sounds in the dark.
Since this a gun forum (I Think [:D]) we can rule out a hammer being cocked and a slide/bolt being racked !
I'll go first:
A Zippo lighter being opened, lit and closed !
