Old Texas tradition...from the Texas Rangers.
What is your "Bar-B-Q" gun??
These were fancy pistols worn during special events...Bar-BQ's'..parades..even funerals...
Normally Colt single actions..Colt 1911's and sometimes Browning Hi-powers.
No certain criteria....do you have one ?

Yes, quite common here in Wyoming as well. Mine is a Colt Gold Cup with Stag Grips. Carried in a Bianchi holster and Cabela's Ranger belt. Quite a stunning site!![:D]

I guess if I could call any gun my Bar-B-Que gun it would be my new Stainless Blackhawk .45colt. Or maybe my High Standard 10-X. Does a Winchester 94 30-30 count?

Well,if this is limited to handguns,of which I only have two,I guess it would have to be the stainless,10 1/2" Super Blackhawk since it seems to get more attention than that little ol' Slabside.[:D][:D]

It would have to be any Jennings someone brings. Unload it , put it n the fire. Ten minutes and flip it over. Cook it till the grips melt.
