Has anyone seen this South African movie about an SAS patrol during the Gulf War? I've recently heard about it through the grapevine...it had been panned by Hollywood as too pro military and subsequently not of interest to Americans. Supposed to be very realistic and gritty. Hope I got the title right. Beach

Yea realistic and grity. But hard to follow to many lead charicters. And you cant understand a word they say.

Saw the movie because a British friend had read the book and thouight the movie was going to be great. The fact his Bro was in the SAS might have swayed him a bit. It's surprising anyone lived if they behaved as depicted in the flick, such as walking down the middle of a road in Indian country, during the DAY! Or the guy with the compass glued to the mag well of his M16. I know those guns have SOME steel in them! There was bits of good gun play, and if ran all together you might get about 15 minutes worth watching. Maybe I'm being a bit harsh, but just can't seem to get the scene out of my mind of the guy walking down the road like Andy Griffith....Wait till it's a cheappie.
