My New Toy-- Mil-Spec M1911

Just picked up a Springfield WWII mil-spec M1911 in 45ACP. It's pretty basic with no frills.

The black parkerized finish looks business like and gun is super tight. The trigger is excellent IMHO. The sights are the ho-hum original design.

I can't wait to get to the range to try it out. Overall, a lot of gun for $400.00

Yep I gotta get a 1911, that is the one gun I have shot a lot but never personally owned. Gotta love the classic look them things have, very intimidating.[:D]
