....Where do you begin? I've screwed down new subfloor and this house is way out of square. If I recall, When I did ceiling tile, we started a row right down the middle, to reduce the error at both sides. Does that sound right?
....It's a tiny bathroom (less than 30 sq. ft) in an "L" configuration. I hate this stuff! Give me a torch and welder, and I'll build you a bridge, but when it comes to carpentry, I could screw up a doorknob. Real wide trim is my friend. [:D]

..Instructions??? What a novel idea!....(no, I hadn't looked) Yea, they're on there, but they assume that you have a nice sguare or rectangular room that is not out of plumb.

If its not to late I can tell you about some good linoleum flooring. My wife had a contracter to build new kitchen cabinets and remodel her kitchen and dining room. The contractor told us about a new at the time product called inter-flex linoleum, and advised us it was more expensive but he highly recommended it. So my wife went and chose the color and they order it to the size the contractor specifies. As he remodled the kitchen we waited for it to arrive. When it did he had about finished up and began to lay the rug and used giant staples to staple it around the wall, then put the new base board on it to help hold it as well. He said it is designed to constantly pull towards the center of the rug, and thats why he said you must tac it good at the walls. That night it looked horrible with wrinkles every where. The contractor said not to worry by morning it would be tight. I could not believe it but it was perfect, it had drawed itself up like he said. You can roll your refrig out to clean behind it and it will leave roller marks but within a few minutes there gone. Best I can remember it has a 15 or 20 yr warranty. Either way you go good luck!!

Im apoligize its vinyl, and its really been worth the money. Now if I could have done it myself that would have even been better, I cant build a dog house and keep it square.[B)] Its worth looking into because you know how easy it is to leave marks in vinly or linoleum. Well thats not a problem anymore, but the contractor who did ours really stapled it down good then used the baseboard as well to keep it from pulling loose.

Bathroom....start at the door for that end....and line up the other edge with the front of the shower/bathtub.

You want a full tile in front of the bathtub/shower and the entry.

You got to go by eye if its not square.

When you are standing in the doorway, figure out where you want it strait across and work back from there.

Dcloco is right on if the tub is directly in front of you at the doorway.
