Every night for the last month or so I have found my neighbor kids sitting on my car in from of my house making all kinds of noise. I understand that it is summer vacation and they are having fun while they are out of school but my car is not the place to do it. I have asked their parents to tell them to stop and they tell them to go to their rooms but 30 mins later they are right back out side. Last night I hard all kinds of noise at 1am and look out the window and one of the kids are standing on the hood of my car. I say get off and they got off and ran in the house. This morning I was in a bit of a rush to work and did not notice the big As* dent on the hood of my car. I am going home at lunch to try to suck the dent out with a plunger. If it does not work he will have to pay for it.

I just had to vent a little.

    You will be lucky if the parents accept responsibility.

    Had a neighbor kid throw a rock , busted the windshield on my car. I saw him do it. Went the the father, and he ask the kid and the kid said yes he did it, the father told him to shut his damned mouth, and for me to get the hell out of his yard, he called the sherrif and complaind that I was harrasing him, I had to take the SOB to court, to get him to pay for the windshield.

    Their parents are nice folks but they are too nice. They let their kids run all over them. You should hear some of the things these "children" say.

    I went across the street to the dollar store and got a plunger. I wet it, put it on the hood and the dent came right out. I looked at it from every angle and see no marks where the dent was. I am taking it to get detailed later to have it checked for scratches.

    Most effective thing that works here is to CALL THE COPS for *any* infraction.

    After the cops come out a few times, they get mean and nasty with the parents, and will arrest them. :) (errr.......not arrest......site the kids/parents)

    Works for me.

    (I was told to do this by our local cops. They said it is the best way to deal with problems, because it leaves a paper trail.)
