Saturday on the mall in washington during the so called "slavery reparation" rally, a new york city council member by the name of Charles Barron stated he would like to "slap a white man". I wonder if he would like to try to slap me? Talk about a "race war" starting!!!!

    Pretty safe comment to make when one is in a city which is 90+% black and one is surrounded by however many like-minded individuals. Of course, if a white guy were to make a similar comment about him, it would be, at the very least, lamented in the popular media as "racist." BS BS BS ad infinitum. However, I do believe we should pay reparations to those who demand them - in the form of a one-way ticket back to whatever place from which their ancestors were forcibly removed . . . and replace the assets they have now with what was taken from them then - typically a few chickens and clay pots to cook them in.

    Race War is right! He's just stirring the pot and playing the "race card" ... why would he want to slap anyone??? He isn't a slave, and I'm betting, never knew one, anymore than this "white man" he would be slapping would have ever owned any slaves.

    Too many minorities feel that they are owed something ... let them get off their butt and earn it! We see thousands of legal immigrants coming to this country every year, they work hard, start their own businesses and make a better life for their families; while too many natural citizen minorities (mostly Black, Hispanic and American Indian) sit back on welfare and whine about how "they" were treated 150 years ago ... sorry it don't wash with me.

    This "reparations" scam is enough to gag a maggot. Just another way to get something for nothing. My mother's family came here in 1649 as indentured "slaves". Who do I see about that?

    What Saxon said it makes me ill to hear about the "poor" underprivileged afro-American race? like someone has already stated I would rent a boat and let it make as many trips as necessary to carry all that wants to go back to their motherland.... there was a gov. of Louisiana who offered to send as many back as wanted to go no one took him up on it I will now offer this free boat ride to anyone that is interested.

    I know. People get upset and say things. Some things can not be taken back once said however, no matter what was said, just as I'm sure this black man is wishing he could take back what he said, just about now. How nice it must be to know that your face will be attached to that phrase. My defending the black race, in a way, is just as much a defense of the Corps as it is the black man, that is why I am so quick to say what I did. I have said what you have myself, in the past. I'm not proud of it, but I'm not ashamed of it either. I meant it in the same way you did. It could be taken to mean I am a racist though, and I would not want that to ever be thought of by any black man, white man, or any other man. Racism sucks. People like this fella do nothing but slow its death by promoting the very thing they comdemn so much with statements like his.

    Add to that the guy that does the computer noise on the cable modem commercial.

    I think the point above has merit. Reparations for slavery are for the humiliation of slavery, and the breaking up of families, not for loss of property or "earning capacity." It has got to be considered reparations for indignity, not for possessions. Otherwise, you could issue each victim a spear and loincloth and a boat ticket and call us even.

    As for slapping, there is no question that anyone who said such a thing, regardless of race or color, would be, in any fair judgment, guilty of a racial slur and should suffer the attendant punishment, whether it means being fired, run out of office or whatever other appropriate response. If you don't do that, you are giving tacit approval for the behavior to be repeated without consequence.

Gephardt & Kennedy for a start . . . but, dude, that twerp on the Dell commercials is like such an accurate portrayal of the average hormone-drenched teen age boy . . . I rather enjoy those commercials because they spoof half the kids 15 - 22 and their often not-so-bright ideas. LOL - he's no more irritating than the rest of them!

    Exactly how much would a Union Private cost? or even a Lt.??? Is it extra if they died in battle or were maimed?? Is it less than the base cost if they died at a rip old age?? Can a family get a discount if an ancestor served?? Do Southern families pay double??

    I want reparations for the crime perpetrated on me and my loved one by blacks. This is all a matter of public record:
    1. In Feburary of 1982,Two black males entered the "Delta Mart" on
    Rangeline Rd. in Theodore, Al., armed with a shotgun and relieved
    me of my wallet containing $38,my social security card,driver's
    licence etc.,and $1300 from the safe of said convience store.
    2. 8 days later, same said perpetraters returned with a third black
    male, with another shotgun and again proceeded to once again
    relieve me of my wallet and the contents of the cash drawer.
    When I was unable to open the safe this time,I was threatened
    with "I'm gonna blow your white F***in' brain out if you don't
    open the god***n safe!"
    3. Summer of 1983 my now ex-wife was raped by a black male while
    hitch-hiking home from New Orleans.
    4. Sept. of 1995 4 black males were seen by neighbors entering the
    apartment occupied by myself amd my brother where they were seen
    leaving with a T.V. set, a portable stereo system,a VCR.
    Even a desciption of the car and plate #, and description of perps
    was not enough for police to effect an arrest!
    WHERE IS MY F***ING REPARATIONS!!!!

    I feel for ya... But my mother used to tell me when I used to say "But thats not fair..." she told me "Lifes not fair, get over it..." and to this day what she said has panned out to be 100% true.

    I do however believe in carma, when a person commits a wrong doing, they will always in one form or fassion recieve punishment.

    If I'm wrong please correct me, I won't be offended.

    In the old days when the circuit judges couldn't properly administer justice our forbears, the American citizenry did - with a rope.
    I don't buy the "Ox Bow Incident" communist trash. Those that swung probably deserved it. People were more church going and God fearing than today and I trust their judgements were fair. They didn't just sit back and watch the law take the wrong course.
    Here we are, sitting back in the face of insurrection instead of compelling our leaders to confront their seditious activity to nip it in the bud.
    These primitive people dont have the basic intelligence to know right from wrong. For the Government not to prosecute their leaders for sedition gives the message that it is not illegal and America is not a country of laws so grab what you can. To steal has no bad connotations.
    We are in deep do-do and should be beyond the reasoning and hand wringing stage but we're not.
    Despite civilizing attempts, their savage behavior has been repeated thruout Africa since Khartoom in the 19th century, beginning again during the decolonization in the 1950's and continuing to date.
    I'm surprized they haven't focussed on the north African oilfields yet. That's where the real money is and after all, the Arabs were and still are slave traders.

    I saw part of that yesterday, wanted to gag! Funny part, is if you watched as camera panned what there was of a crowd (not much of one), most of the people there were talking and visiting among themselves and not paying a d**n bit of attention to what was going on..

    I'm glad there are still folk out there who say what they really feel. I totally agree. If a white guy said it it would be all over Newsweek.     About 10 years ago, I worked at a fast food joint where there where a group of black employees that always wore the "black pride" shirts.
    They were proud of thier race which is great. Being proud of my ancestory , i decided to wear a shirt with "white pride" on it one day.I figured its ok to be proud of who you were. I was fired in less than 2 minutes. Talked to my laywer and he said there was no way he would touch a case like that. Its great being young and white.

    Here's one of Barron's college assignments. It instructed him to make a sentence with each of the following words. Iraq, rectum, carpenter, and catacomb. Following is his interpretation of each word he used in seperate sentences. You gotta realize he's not responsible for what he says.

    Iraq- My Unlce Lincoln Washington Jefferson Brown took me to da pool
    ha. He took out a pop machine washer an said, "Dirty side up Iraq, you break."

    rectum- My Auuunte' Josephine used to hab two Lincolns but ma cousin Leroy rectum.

    This man has HATE in his blood and is disturbing the peace,and is inciteing a riot between people for a past in which we at the present have nothing to do with.     When in college I always hated Black history month. It seemed thier history started when they got off the slave runners boat in America. They always seem to forget that the boat ride started in africa. They can never remeber who sold them into slavery. They need to seek reperations from the black's in african countrys who sold them into slavery. And not all blacks are bad, I know some who think these people are idiots. Of course they have jobs, work hard and believe they are lucky to be here. And you know they same blacks I hate they do to. And you know what else the same whites I hate they do to .lol
