Excellent History Channel Guns 2-hour Show

I really enjoyed the 2-hour show on military firearms last night - apologies to those who couldn't get it. I've recorded most of it and will watch it again. Hopefully they will re-run it and I can get it all start to finish. Just one interesting fact I learned is that the MP5 was based closely on HK's G3 action. Another interesting subject was the information about the AK74 and it's differences from the AK-47, the AKM, and the AK milled receiver guns. They left me wanting even more detail, of course, but they filled their 2 hours pretty well with good stuff. They even gave the AR problems (and the military politics behind it) a good going-over and made more sense out of it than I've seen in the past. Kudos to everyone responsible for that show.

Somebody did last night, or I'd have missed it myself. I just wish we'd had more notice.

It should be on a few more times in May, as they are doing "Macho May"

It is a rerun, as I've seen the second half of it before.

    Great show.
