Got into Darwin at midnight, and it was still 100F. Humidity was the same. Wilted my knickers, I tell ya. Going to mess around with crocs today, and also find some breakfast. E-mailing home and thought I would stop by and say G'Day. Hope you all have a day of No Worries. He Dog.

    Not even noon and the temp is 85 with high humidity. I dread the next few months. Hate our summers.........too hot to even go outside.

    If you get to Albany (south of Perth) be sure to hit the fish n chips shop right across the street from the Safeway. Best you'll ever have, guaranteed!

    Thanks Peter and Merc. Won't be getting to Perth,do you know any good really cool place to eat in the Northern Territory? Spent the day looking at crocs, and have the next two to look at birds and try to find some goannas and death adders. Do that in the early morning, because the rest of the day is too hot for them to be out

    Hangfire are you and BertH keeping a look out for some old Winnies for me when I get back?

    The NT was the ONLY place we didn't get to in the six weeks we were there. We are "saving it" for another trip. To much to do/see in that part of the country. Have fun!
