Shot the CMP clinic Saturday

My local range was having a CMP clinic Saturday, class and shoot 50 rounds. So I took it for the $20, which included use of club rifles and ammo. All at 200 yards, 10 rounds rapid prone, 10 slow offhand, 10 rapid sitting, 20 slow prone. I got a 335 1X out of a possible 400. Not great, but I'll take it for my first time shooting the M-1. Interestingly, my best group was my offhand group, 88 1X. Ususally I don't hit the broad side of a barn offhand. Now I can get CMP guns, yahoo!

Port Clinton is on RT2 between Cleve and Toledo right? Thats too far, I would go to Youngstown but I cant go that far.

7mm There was one in youngstown this week-end. You were better off to miss it because of the rain. The next one in Youngstown is May 19th. You have to be a member of the NRA and also the Ohio Pistol and Rifle association. The Phone number for the ORPA is (513)891-0083.
