For anyone that has ever wished a gun manufacturer would make a certain gun in a specific caliber, you will understand this. I like the 454 Casull, and I want one in a lever action rifle. Marlin doesnt make it yet, but I think they should. If you feel as I do, or even if you dont, do me a favor, email Marlin and ask them to consider making one of their wonderful lever actions in 454 Casull. Do it for me, do it for yourself, do it for the fun of seeing what will happen from it all! I figure with all the people that are registered on this site, if just 25% of them were to request this be done, they might at least start thinking about doing it, ya know? Here is their email address info@marlinfirearms.com Thanks, Ryan

We only have a few special years with our children in which they desire our time, attention, and love. After that time is over, it is gone forever, and we will be the ones that desire their time, attention, and love. Make those few, short years count -

I just emailed them with the suggestion of both the .454 and .480 as complements to the Redhawks (think they'll go for complementing a Ruger?).

You have it figured correctly, I want a rifle chambered to match my favorite hunting cartridge in a handgun caliber. I never was interested in the .44 mag, when I had one in a revolver, because I didnt think it really was powerful enough to warrant a rifle, but the 454 now, thats a different story, now I'm interested. I dont know a lot about the 405, admittedly, but I could go with the 45-70 also, its not the match for my 454 though, ya know? The only drawback to the 454 in a lever action I can think of is that it probably wouldn't chamber the heavy lead slugs I want to cast, but thats ok, it'll still chamber the factory stuff, I'm sure.

Dont be shocked when you get the email from them stating they cant answer all their email personally, I figure if they get enough of these requests they will start taking notice though. Thanks for emailing.

Ever wonder what the speed of lightning would be if it didn't zigzag?
I called Rossi, the rep. I spoke with told me that they didnt have any rifle in that caliber, and that she did not know of any plans to make one.???
