Is the bands name a reference to James Madison?
If Kate Smith didn't sing it it is mediocre,
I was a season ticket holder for the flyers for many years and watched Kate sing that song many time. Now they have Lauren Hart sing it and belive it or not, She is a little better in my humble opinion. Plus a whole lot cuter.[:D] But boy oh boy could Kate belt that tune out. They still have videos of her singing before the flyers games sometimes. Also God bless america

Those are nice, but as you point out, age will have something to do with it. Few young people such as myself love the flag or are drawn to the more traditional versions of our national anthem.
Waco, I looked into them a little bit and yes, it's a James Madison reference. At least the lead singer is also a Navy veteran, idk about the others. I got a few more songs after hearing this on my computer, their stuff is all based on conservative american values and pride.
