    LMAO - Yeah - Pheasant, But wait - I cooked up my best bird and dumplings!!!!! Got the ring neck today and had him dressed and ready for dinner. Ya gotta love it when the release area is only 4 miles away from home....

    1 large pheasant (can be substituded by the Phat racoon) boiled and pulled from bone
    1/2 medium onion chopped
    2 medium potatoes
    2 handfulls of small carrots
    2 sticks of celery sliced
    some other stuff like cracked pepper - parsely - garlic powder - 2 of those square little cubes of chicken stuff - salt. Add all of those to taste or use the Bluetic method - pour some in your hand until you feel like a chef then throw it in the pot. Reduce the stock by the 2 glasses of wine time measurement. Dumplings are easy - just read the directions on the side of the bisquik box. I served this to the Lady of the house with a bottle of Eastern Australian Charrdonay (cuts the taste of the new steel shot - and tones down my redneck nature). I'm thinking - after that - I'm in like flint. Not really, she had a hard day while I got to go out with the dogs........
