Calling violent groups terrorists unconstitutional

"Plus, a federal judge in Los Angeles says that calling some violent groups "terrorists" is unconstitutional! Whoa! We'll tell you about it this evening."

That was taken off Fox site.. I heard the headline it would be on Fox tonight.. did anyone see it? If so, what was it about... I missed the show and would like to know what this is all about and why the commercial said the ruling could have terrorists living beside us..

    Some idiotic inbread judge says that its a violation of the constitution to declare groups like al Quada and Hamas as terrorist organizations without first giving them a chance to state their cases in court. In my opinion, any judge who is so stupid should immediately be removed from the bench. They have no buisness serving the AMERICAN people if they are more concerned with foreignors rights than ours. Let him go get a job on the world court, but get him out of our country.

    When Clinton left office they gave him a 21 gun salute. Its a damn shame they all missed....

    If we can't call them Terrorists, I guess we will have to come up with another name that accurately describes them..Any suggestions ?

    "Violent groups" who are not terrorists? Well, you could call them the enemy... Or how about criminals?

    Causes are only of equal value when there is no such thing in the universe as Ethics. If you have a conscience, if you have a sense that there is a pretty much unarguable Good and Evil that can be defined on paper, and you can determine in some fundamental way the difference between that 'good' and that 'bad,' then some groups are bad and others are good -- objectively. It's not just a matter of opinion. One man's fish is NOT another man's chicken -- unless one of them is crazy. Get me?

    By the way, if that were true, any armed crazy standing in the street of L.A. popping off rounds might have a just cause, and therefore could not be shot down by the cops for waving a gun at them -- according to this judge, he might have a justifiable case which should first be heard in court before branding the guy anything unsavory. A guy who kills innocent women and children, on purpose, repeatedly, to make a selfish point, might turn out to be an okay dude....

    The way things have been going lately with people's logic reminds me of a movie title: DUMB, AND DUMBER.

    I have heard some dumb things in my life, but never so dumb as what this program was about.. Thanks to all who answered..
    If they are not terrorists, then what are they? Call a spade a spade for cripes sake.. they cause terror in the minds and hearts of people .. then terrorists are a fitting name...and I dont need a court of law to tell me what they are..

    I guess then if a guy walks into a McDonalds and guns down innocent people, we should give him the benefit of explaining his actions before we "label" him. He should have no rights after doing such a thing, The same as Al Quaeda shouldn't after the things we have seen in the last 10 months...Nothing but Liberal, bleeding heart, bulls**t
