    Its a toss up between a P-51 and a Corsair, I'm not too good at identifying planes anymore. That and the pic. isnt too clear from that angle.

    If it's the same as the other ones, it's a P-51. The early model had the funky canopy, this one you see has no "all around view" canopy. I hope I'm right, anyway.

    By the angle, it's a tail dragger. Must be the P-40 as the P-39 was on trike gear.

    P-40.....The P-51 was not as rounded, the sides of the aircraft are flatter and there was an air intake even in the early models.

    Funny thing is, these planes we are trying to decipher were just on a History Channel segment last week, it was really cool, they brought us from the beginnings of the first plane all the way up through WWII at least. I couldnt get away from the TV, it was really good. If I were to order all the episodes I like, I wouldnt have money to buy guns anymore!
