I have a S&W Tanto Blade folder I have never had to sharpen till now.I have sharpened many Clip and Drop point blades but what works for them doesnt seem to be working for the Tanto.I sharpened my CaseXX folder at the same time and it came out perfect.Do I need to sharpen this thing like a chisel?Tips greatly appreciated.

Tanto points are easy to sharpen. The only trick is that usually each side has a different bevel angle. Just follow this angle, or as close to it as the Lansky will let you.
The Lansky Deluxe comes with an extra coarse stone that is great for quickly re-cutting the bevel to an angle consistent with the system.

( Crock Stick, I think, was the name of it ) that looks like a V made of stone. I sharpen the major part of the blade as normal, and then turn the blade at an upward angle to the tanto part of it is flat and sharpen it the same fashion as the regular part. The actual pointed angle part seems to pick up sharpness on its own. In fact, it becomes the sharpest part. Anyway...Tanto YES. Serrations...NO! I've never had any luck with those.
