I rarely go to the cinema to see a film, but have been considering this one after reading Hal Moore's book. Have any of you folks seen the film? Is it worth the ridiculous price now charged for admission?

Was a good movie. The goverment sends troops into combat against unknown numbers of emeny. And lastly has the death telegrams delivered by taxi drivers.

Great movie. It was really life like, and parts were disturbing. If you have the stomach for napalm on american troops, you should see it.

Definitely a must see. Good action and a good story.

I saw the movie. It tells only part of the Ia Drang story.
The part it tells, is in my opinion, true to the facts. This was just another example of nobody having the slightest clue as to what was happening. Had it not been for superior leadership, there would have been a hell of a lot more telegrams than ther was.
