I saw a .32cal blackpowder rifle, was wondering if anyone has any ballistic data for a .32cal...

If I'm wrong please correct me, I won't be offended.

I read somewhere to figure blackpowder velocities, take the weight of the bullet to the weight of powder. This just works for round lead balls in rifles. A 10 to 1 will give a velocity of 1035 fps. A 8 to 1 will give 1235 fps. A 1 to 1 will give 2570 fps. So if you are shooting a .32 cal lead ball weighing 90 gr. with a 45 gr. load of blackpowder you should get a velocity of 2135 fps. Now knowing the weight of the bullet and the fps, you can figure ft. lbs of energy. In this case it would be around 683 ft lbs. So this is not exactly an elephant load. This figures are at best a good estimate, just too many variables, length of barrel, barrel wear, etc.

My book shows the .31 cal. round ball at 45 grains.
