does anybody know where I can find out about a schmidt rubin? It's a swiss gun that's a 1889 model. Shoots a 7.5 swiss. I just got one and I would like to find out more about it and if it's worth anything.

Most of the 1889 models were refurbished in 1911 to take the modern ammo. These are great rifles! They are known for being very accurate. Ammo is not too hard to find, not too cheap but ok.
I have seen the 1911 refurbs going for $175 up to $275.
Truly a beautiful and well built rifle.
