    Good deal.
I have the feeling he is guilty as the day is long, of murdering 2 wives.
Give him the best trial money can buy, then, hang him.

Could someone (at the risk of my sounding stupid) explain to me what "(sic)" Means, in this context.

"Drew has steadfastly maintain (sic) his innocence regarding the rumor and innuendo that has circulated regarding the unfortunate death of Kathleen. Although he is disappointed with the decision of the state, he looks forward to the opportunity to once and for all prove his innocence in a court of law,"

Just listening to that guy talk made me want to make a trip out there to push him off a cliff. He looked like a perv....acted like a slimeball....and didn't even mourn the person he so obviously killed. That IDIOT that was going to marry him should have her child taken away from her. She was putting that child in danger and shouldn't be allowed to have the child.

The lawyer made an error in using the present tense [maintain] when he should have used the past tense, "maintained."
The reporter is noting that it is the error of the lawyer, and not a mistake that the reporter made.

    Ya think?

The depth of this man's self-adulation is astonishing.

I was watching this story on the news, they said that when the cops put the cuffs on Drew Peterson, he wisecracked "Damn, I knew I should have returned those library books."

That's funny, Drew, now we shall see who laughs last.
Hopefully he won't get an "OJ jury" and will get a fair trial.

They dug up his third wife's body, after the fourth wife "disappeared," and learned that the third wife had been beaten to death, and drowned.

Looks like a life sentence for this smart mouthed punk.
