Nice. That rack is bigger than I have ever seen in the woods.
or on the hottest woman thread.[;)]
Ps, good for him
I have killed over 95 whitetails. All my racks piled up together might equal that one rack.
Pass IT on!!!
Nice trophy
Good shooting.
He's ruined, he'll be chasing them big ones for now one.[^]
I've never saw a deer that big any closer than 200 yards to shoot, and always on someone else's property.
Love hearing people say southern white tale are small. People need to stop letting the cat out of the bag[;)]
You keep dreaming that dream.[;)]

"The family property -- 1,500 acres in Concordia Parish, which butts up against the Cocodrie National Wildlife Refuge -- is better known as Fisher Properties, and is noted for producing trophy deer. Since the property features mostly hardwoods and river bottom, many of the deer taken range from 265 to 280 pounds in weight and 8 to 11 points."
Location makes the difference, the 18pt in this article was killed in Concordia Parish, Louisiana. You lived somewhere, for three years, it wasn't Concordia or Tensas Parish[;)]
I hunted down there for 20 years and killed over 90 deer myself, I was with guys who killed maybe 100 more.
Average buck 140 pounds on the hoof. Small racks, probably half of those killed were spikes. Some six and eight pointers but small racks.
I don't know if it is genetics or food, I have seen some pretty impressive results on the Whitetail Institute web site.
They say that these deer have an inadequate diet and they lack protein.
