How do you edit or delete a posting?

Maybe it is too late at night. I looked it up. It says go to the topic where it says "Posted on". There you will see little icons for "edit" and a garbage can for "delete". I can't find these icons.I bet not half as many people here would be mad at me if I could edit or delete.

You can only delete replies. If your post is the topic starter you cannot delete it.
