There will be no Christmas trees, no colored lights, no Santa, no red ribbons on wreaths, and no manager scene in the city park and no decorations in any public buildings in Fort Collins, Colorado this year. Fort Collins is banning Christmas.
It seems that a minority of 15 Jewish people complained and wanted to put a display up also, even though they do not celebrate December 25, but the city said no, because if they let them, then everyone would want to put up displays for their religions which have nothing to do with December 25 which is Christ's birthday.
So they let the Jewish and Christian people set up a task force to decide what kind of decorations that the city could have.
They came up with having snow flakes as decorations and white lights, as if Colorado does not have any real snow flakes.
The spokesman for the task force was the ACLU! Can you believe that they let the ACLU run the show?
Boulder, Colorado already has the ban in effect and has lost Christmas.
This is an attack on America values and if you do not stand up for your culture, you will lose it. The minorities want to take Christmas away from us, and if we do not stand up we will lose Christmas throughout the USA.
One way to stand up for our culture is show the retailers that we will not shop in a store that only has signs saying Happy Holliday's and not Merry Christmas. The stores do not want to offend the minorities, but they do not mine offending us. They need to be made to realize that Christians are the ones who buy gifts for Christmas to celebrate Christmas and not the minorities religions who do not buy gifts anyway at Christmas time.

Doug
nowhere in the bible does it say we are to celebrate the birth of Christ.
and as all good christians know, christ wasnt born in december anyway.
good for them! if the rest of america followed suit, maybe there would be less bankrupt families due to a savings of shopping money for real needs in life, instead of the pagen gift giving ritual its turned into.
