Ken Kesey.

His Bus.

A drug Addict and a real A-hole.

He Owned a CB Store in Pleasant Hill Oregon, Only Place within 100 miles that carried the K-40 Cb Antenna. Every person who went there he talked down too like everybody but him was an Idiot.

The City of Eugene puts up a Statue of him near the center of town. Tells you where their values are.

Don't know the guy, never heard of him prior to today.

    Interesting story though.
Why don't we go to school and work on the weekends and take the week off!

I thought he "liked" kids and the town only found out after they built that thing.

Liked kids, about the only time he was with kids was after they placed them there in the Statue.

Sounds like some gun store owners I know. One in particular was such an * I shopped there exactly once. Then one day many years later I heard the old man had died and his son had take over the shop. I thought I'd give him a try and stopped on the way home. Jr was an even bigger prick than his old man. I have no earthly idea how they have remained open since at least 1990

My Local place Closed up, the one that had been opened the longest. Real jerk owned it and his crew was just as bad.

There was another place just as bad. But they figured out that if you treat customers right they keep coming back. They moved to a better location and are now doing great.
