Scope problem

I tried to zero my scope today. It's mounted on my knight black
powder rifle. My scope is a tasco with a deer or somekind of animal
on the side. 3x9x40 and when set at 4 power at 50 meters I could
get groups 2" above center. When I moved the target out to 100
meters and changed the power to 9 the rounds went high and to the
right.the last shot I made I lowered the power to 4 and the round
went thru the bulls eye. It could be me, I am new to black powder
but my question is should the changing of the power change the impact point? I used my 270 today at different powers with no change, that
scope is a swarovski though. Any help will be appreciated. thanks

Tasco's are notorious for that. Best way to fix the problem and not spend a lot of money is to buy a Bushnell or a Simmons.

Did Will270 just reccomend a scope that wasnt a Burris? I must be seeing things.

It shouldn't change at all on different power settings. Were you using the same powder charge in the rifle? You are new to BP, changing the powder or bullet changes everything. If it is just the scope get rid of it quick.
