Heading to the stand in the morn.-hunter's prayer?

I've taken 3 different people out to my hunting area. Sat all of them in my stand and told them what to do. There have been 4 deer shot out of that stand.

It's now my turn to take the stand, let's hope the streak continues.

If you have a small prayer you say while heading to your stand, would you like to share it? Something like 5-8 lines. I think I would like to start that in my ritual.

Edit: I should elaborate....

I feel that I haven't been taking the right attitude to my hunting experiences. I belive I should be making them to be more of spiritual experiences than the standard "Go out and kill something" type of mindset. I feel He has not granted me with my reward because of my past mindset.

Does that make sense?

    Prayer:

Dear Lord, before I commit myself to the stand...

    keep me safe from perjury

The prayer should be your own, but I always include a request for my safety, the safety of others, and if I'm given the opportunity to take the game I seek that I would have the skill to make a clean and humane kill.

If you can't feel the music; it's only pink noise!

That's what I thought, but I'm not good at creating things like this.

I'll try to write my own. I found the Hunter's Prayer to the harvested animal's spirit, of which I like quite a bit.

Enjoy your day with nature and if the right opportunity arises, you'll get your chance on a deer. If not, you will have other opportunities. Simply enjoy the time away from the daily routine. Please let me know how your day goes. I'll check in tomorrow late afternoon. Have a great day and enjoy the hunt! [^]

    Good luck to you Jim.
    Thank you.
