Mech-Tech carbine kits ?'s

Hey how are ya'll doin' out there tonight?hope everybody is doing well. Got a ? for ya.Do any of you have one of the Mech Tech carbine conversion kits forColt .45's? I saw a post earlier on "Ask the Experts"and they really liked it. I'm looking in to them and any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks a bunch folks!

    Yes. I bought one over 1 year ago. Fit on my GI issue gun easily. Fit and finish were very good and it was quite a bit more accurate than the pistol is. I mounted a red dot scope on it (no iron sights) and had a lot of fun at the range with my 10 round mags.Kinda sorry that I sold it when I needed cash for a Marlin 94 cowboy rifle.

    I recently purchased one of the mech tech 45acp carbine kits and attached a Charles Daly frame to it and went out and had a ball. For sights I used a simmons red dot. From a kneeling position I was able to put 7-230grn, swc into a 2" bull from about 40 yards over and over again. Can't wait to try different loads and ranges.
