CLASSIC 095 STAYING FOR TESTS... SPOT OF TROUBLE.

n/an/a Member Posts: 168,427
edited September 2002 in General Discussion
First I want to apologise to anyone I might have offended... I reread some of my responses this morning and noticed a rather short tone in the messages... I apologise for it..
Classic is back in the hospital.. I took him back last night... After a very nice weekend, and he was feeling great.. he developed pain last night... lasted longer this time... I took him to the hospital where he was admitted...
The angiogram that was scheduled for tomorrow is still a go... so I am praying we will know something then...
Thank you all for your continued support, and please accept my apologies for sounding rather curt on my replies...
Beth

    BlackRoses,
You gotta take it easy on the old fart, man, he just got out of the hospital and already you got him eating the Jalapenos again. I wont make a threat of a butt stompin again though, something tells me those are some bad @$$ peppers you've been giving him, and I'm afraid you'd come to his aid by making me eat one of them. Hope he feels better in the morning, Ryan.

The cardiologist was in while I was there.. said IF there is a blockage, it will be repaired while he is having the angiogram... so I will not know what was done till he gets back from the procedure.. He is scheduled for 9 AM tomorrow morning...
I will keep everyone updated as soon as I know what is or has gone on...
    Thanks for the continued prayers...

Good luck to you. I just went through that with my dad for the last couple of days. Fortunately it turned out that his problem wasn't too serious and can be handled by daily medication. Maybe Classic will have similar good fortune.

    Beth,

    Wishing you both the best.

You must be feeling like you're on an emotional roller-coaster with him being home, then back in the hospital again.

It's probably a good thing he has you there--he strikes me as the sort-of guy (like most guys) who would ignore the pain when it should be checked-out.

Of course, I'm hoping this is all just "feminine over-reaction" on your part...

    Take care,

    Joe

Well its 5:10 and I am sitting here drinking my first coffee.... will be leaving for the hospital in about an hour...Tried to sleep... now that was a joke...even my baby couldnt sleep (cat)
Dozed off a couple of times and each time woke with a start.. I hate that... scares the heck out of a person for no reason...so spent the night on the couch with the cat on my chest (her usual position) watching tv, trying to get 5 minutes of sleep..
It has occured to me that I am rambling...but I am not going to apologise for it... just excuse it people, as the ramblings of a worried wife..with no sleep and an overworked imagination... Funny how the mind will work.. I know the procedure, seen it many times, know the risks or lack of them and they are few...and yet when its someone you care about having it done... well all logic goes flying out the window...
And now, the wife, the medical, the caring person in me comes to life... and this is just not for the men... Please do not ignore pain... its the bodies way of saying something is wrong... check it out... drs would rather tell you its only gas, than to tell your wife or husband..."I am sorry, we did all we could"... Accuse me of preaching, harping or even bi****ing.. but get it checked out... Dont say it will go away, or brush it off... Get it checked out.. if not for yourself then for your wife or husband... We want all the time together we can get and no matter how we drive each of the other up the wall, or crazy... we still want you with us...
Okay.. off the pedestal now.... Will post the results as soon as possible...

I am back home for the next hour so Classic will sleep off the drugs....He went in around 10:30 and I was allowed in the recovery room at 2:00.... The first initial report is yes, there was a blockage... and that is just due to the fact that he is in recovery... they send them back to the room if all was clear.. if they did angioplasty and/or stents, then its the recovery room...
I am supposed to meet with the dr at 4:30 and will know the extent of what was done...
He is awake, relatively alert...but having a bit of pain.. normal under the circumstances...He wont sleep with me in the room, so I told him I was going for a coffee, and came home for a cup... He wont remember anyways.. that is the nature of the drug he was given...
As for how he is feeling... well he reached up and pinched my... starts with a b.... and that should tell you how he is...
will give a full report after I talk to the dr.. if all goes well he will be home tomorrow...
Keep up the prayers please... Thanks.. Beth

Will need quite a bit of colesterase theraphy to clean up but he will be fine ,better put a leash on them greasy meats ......

The rose flower excent makes the body release enzimes to clear hart blockage, also lots of vitamin c with rosehips will help...
