I'm sorry to hear about what happened to your daughter (got run over by a car - in RancheroPaul's thread). That is truly a shame. I can't help but think about what I would do if somebody ran over my daughter and I saw them laughing with the cops and then NOT getting in deep trouble.

I respect your level of self-control, I'm not sure I wouldn't get some form of revenge.

G36, It was not easy maintaining my cool, it was very stressful. I had almost as much anger at the police for not doing their job as I did the two women in the car that hit her. I wanted to go after them bad but I knew I would be targeted if I did. If they would have crippled or killed my daughter they would have been exterminated. To me the fact that they tried to leave the scene waranted Jail time in itself. My daughter has completely healed thank God and is cheerleading this year. My kids are my life, they and my wife are the most important things in the world to me. I would not cope well with loosing one of them and pray I never have to deal with such a scenario. I guess I am just glad she wasn't injured worse than she was. I thank you for your sentiments friend, it is appreciated. I hope you never have to go through anything like it.
